Our History

TPS Consulting and Engineers is a generational family-owned-and-operated business. Founded in 1974 by Thomas Sprader, Thos. P. Sprader & Associates Ltd. began as a consulting/engineering firm specializing in non-destructive testing and welding in Green Bay. The addition of his son, Scott Sprader PE, brought metallurgy and engineering services and a “one source” for inspection, analysis, and recommendations. Scott and Phyllis Sprader purchased the company in 2004 and it became the name you now know – TPS Consulting Engineers Ltd. – with the same continuing commitment to quality improvement. In addition, as of December 2017, TPS Consulting Engineers is proud to announce certification as a woman-owned business.
